Holiday Schedule
Guthrie students will be dismissed at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 20 for the Christmas holidays. Classes will start back up on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
The Library Holiday Schedule is:
Dec. 20 8:00am - 4:30pm
Dec. 21 8:00am - 3:30pm
Dec. 28 8:00am - 5:00pm
Dec. 29 8:00am - 5:00pm
Dec. 30 8:00am - 5:00pm
Dec. 31 8:00am - 5:00pm

Guthrie CSD is opening txConnect, an online portal by which parents can monitor their child’s grades and attendance via the Internet.
Many districts in the state and nation are already using this kind of communications technology in order to help parents stay informed, and to forge stronger relations between parents and the school.
Grades and attendance records are private information protected by law, thus processes to ensure secure access to this sensitive information have been put in place.
A password is generated for each student. This password is the key to entering the txConnect system. Once parents have set up an account in the system they will have access to their child’s grades and attendance, from any place where they have Internet access.
Interested parents should come by the Administrative Office of Guthrie CSD and see Sherri Adams to sign for receipt of their password for access.
